I may no longer be the owner of a 1967 Starcraft. I have a line on a 1956 Peterborough 22.5 foot aluminum boat with a 2000 Merc 115hp outboard on the back. I know the seller from highschool and he's gonna sell it to me if I want it for a VERY fair price. Don't worry- I have a good home lined up for the Starcraft.

You were due to be terminated due to inactivity anyway :p

Seriously though, at least you'd still be in the Tin Can club. Sounds like a cool boat.

Gunner, that is not allowed:p

In all honesty, that Peterborough sounds like a nice rig, can we see some pics? 22.5' is a big old tin can:)

BTW...the only rule is that you have to tell the new owner of the Starcraft about iboats;)

Good luck with the new rig!

Here's a link to the only pics that I have access to. Just scroll about halfway down the page:http://www.stripers247.com/phpBB2/showthread.php?t=11687

Neat boat. Will be stable as a heck for fishing with that near-flat bottom but I imagine the ride quality be a bit harsh. What motor are you planning to hang on it?

Actually, it comes with a 2000 Mercury 115hp outbard. Do you know anything about these motors?

That motor is no good...I will take it off your hands for a small fee:p

It should fly with a 115, are you using it for fishing, hunting, cruising?

Is it a riveted hull or welded?(can't see the pics while I'm at work)

Actually, Im not sure but I think it is welded. My main use of this boat will be to chase the striped bass migration in the Hudson River this spring. BTW, should you be surfing while at work?

Nice boat, nice wide open deck for the fishing.

Well, I went to look at the Peterborough on Monday and after checking it out, I bought it. The hull doesn't have any dents, some scratches here and there and it has a nice galvanized trailer. What I really liked about the boat besides it's ample room is the motor. It's a 1995 Mercury Tracker Pro Series 115 hp outboard. Tilt/trim works, there's no leaks around the pump, it looked well maintained under the cover and cranked right over. The PO wanted to back it into the river to show me how well it runs, but the launch was packed with ice. I can't wait until the ice is out so I can take her for a ride!
