Hey guys I finally got out fishing again today. The weather stayed calm and we went out to the Motuhie Channel. We all caught our limit of snapper and then the John Dory showed up. Boy it felt good to use the gear again.<br />This afternoon I'm skinning and freezing some, smoking some and I had fried snapper for lunch!<br />What a great thing it is to get your own food, fresh from the ocean.<br />We got one fright though. I've never seen an ocean liner all lit up before dawn before and we puzzled over what it was before we realised it was an ocean liner! Those things must burn enough power to light a city!<br />Can't wait for the next trip now.......<br />Ross

Hey guys, I have an embarrasing problem here. You see, that snapper isn't one of the ones we caught the other day. It is a photo of a web site here in NZ showing a snapper. I called it ours in responce to a question by snapperbait asking if it was like one on s site he'd suggested.<br />I'm very sorry if I gave the wrong impression but can see how my wording was wrong. I do like to think of myself as honest and apologise to all.................<br />Ross
