All game fish have a preferred water temperature. For example Lake Trout are most active at 42 degrees. Does anyone know of a site that would show a chart with the game fish and their prefered temperature.
Also a site that would show a color of a lure and how that color changes as you go deeper. I think only flourescent colors do not change.

Thank you for any comments - Harry

Thanks for the link, osark!

I had one of those in my tacklebox 30 years ago (never used it in 15' water). Didn't know they were still made. The price is about $2 more than 1973 :D

I have "graduated" to downriggers this year and looking for something cheap to read water temp.

The depththerm may be just the ticket :p
