short block

i just bought a 1985 four winns bow rider. it sounds like it might have a little piston slap.<br />can i get a four cyl gm short block to fit?

Rich, if you are talkin about mercruisers 3.0 liter motor, take a close look at it before you tear it out........these motors are noisy when new, an dont get any better with age...i see alot of them that rattle away for YEARS with no drop in performance or increase in oil consumption........
