Shimano Voltaeus Rods???

Anyone have any experience with these? Saw them at a sporting goods store. Looked like it was a direct competition with Ugly Stik. Bent the heck out of the rods... very flexible and light. The average sizes are all about $40. Looking for another rod... a good cheap durable one.

Thoughts? Most all of my fishing will be bass/kokanee/trout

They would work well for that. The Berkley Cherrywood in 6' UL would be another good choice.
