Went to the outdoor pro shop again, as my buddies seem to think "drop shot" means drop your rig off in the weeds and come get my gear for another shot. Well, I'm not rich, or even close. I'm always up to share gear with a buddy, but, I was looking at shaky head setups and they're like $5-6 for 4 of them. So, I turned cheapo and am going to try this setup in the morning. Think it will work?

Looks like it will to me! Go fill up the bath tub and see how it looks/works.;)

... what happened to the drop shot rig you were killing them with?

I'm taking two poles, one with each. And yeah, I know I've been going on and on about the drop shot. Just excited about actually catching bass since I'm not the skilled fisherman. Always up for trying something new though. Took it out in the back yard and filled up a cooler. It bounced around pretty close to what I saw on some youtube videos, but my worm tail doesn't stay up as long as I thought it would. When I toss it in, it's straight up, but after 7-8 little skips, it's usually laying down. I'd give it a little jerk and it would do the little flip/loop and land back on it's head, where it would stay up for 7-8 more little skips. I've never used a real one, so I'm not sure if this is normal, but I'm going to take it out and give it a go anyways.
