How do I accurately measure my shaft length for an Outboard motor. I want to replace the motor. jkmiller@wcoil.com

Lonefisherman,<br /><br />Measure from the top of the transom straight down to the bottom of the boat. It will be either: 15", 20" or 25"-give or take an inch. That measurement is the shaft length of the motor you want to look for.
