We're going to have an issue figuring out what "this thing" is. As you probably have found no one can upload pics (server having issues). If you can load it at another place and link to here
It appears to be something below the manifold air temp sensor. Saying it has 3 small screws means it's not the fuel rail damper. Have a pic just a tad bit further away to get an idea what is connected to it?
Ok, so the bip….bip is beacuse tjat one is broken?ok, that's the IAC (idle air control) valve item 38

Thanks, you have a 555 ECM. Can get you closer if you can say what kind of beeps. There are some constant, 2 beeps a minute, and othersOW681317
I'm going to go with the possibility the burned-up IAC is what is sounding the warning horn (Beep_Beep in a timed fashion)?Ok, so the bip….bip is beacuse tjat one is broken?
Aha, yes it was two beeos a minute. Thanks, you have a 555 ECM. Can get you closer if you can say what kind of beeps. There are some constant, 2 beeps a minute, and others
Ok, yes exactly like that, two beeps a minute .I'm going to go with the possibility the burned-up IAC is what is sounding the warning horn (Beep_Beep in a timed fashion)?
Replace the IAC, and carry a new one on board with the tools to replace it as this is a near common issue with this engine model...
If the horn doesn't stop after replacement, then you'll need to go deeper in my opinion as to why....Also check the IAC wiring and plug connector for further damage.
