I have an intermittent alarm that goes off on my 36' chris I also know a few wires were crossed on the guage panal as the alarm indicators for the oil any show up on the wrong engine.<br />Question the sending units and alarm swithes ( my crusaders have one of each oil water oil temp trans etc.) this is the ground path correct? another word if I ground the sending unit the needle will peg out and set off the buzzer. if I ground the alarm switch the buzzer will go off.<br />I want to isolate each circuit and correct the miss wiring and find if I have a bad guage or sending unit or alarm switch. <br />I have noted normal temps and guage readings, also noted buzzer sounds only when engines are idled low for a period of time in no wake zones.
