my sending unit have 2 wire ,one have ( I ) one have ( S ) where this go to, can someone help me please .My boat is 1978 Mckee craft 17 SOUTHPORTER

I think you?ve mistaken a ??? (negative) for and ?I.? S goes to S post on fuel gauge, negative to ground.
