Seat Pedestal Choices

Anyone have an opinion/advice on what type of pedestal/base set up is best/worst.<br /><br />Specifically between the pin post 1.77" swivl-eze type and the 3" Swivl-eze Wedge system/Springfield type.<br /><br />Seems to me the small pin type is more durable, but the wedge type while it is plastic is more stable.<br /><br />Any help is apreciated. <br /><br />Stone

i have both.. the 'pin' type. the reciever always 'shrinks' for some reason if not in use.. i guess he sun.. can't get in ( re-bore ) can't remove ..( crow-bar )..
