Hey Guys,

just wondering if I should gelcoat/paint/cover up the scrapes on the attached pictures. I'm not really concerned about the looks of it, because it is all under the water line. Can I leave it as is, or should I cover it. There are no gouges in it, just gelcoat worn off etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

pix didn't post, how did you post them?

Using the attach pix icon from the tool bar that's resident w/ the iboats forum? I suspect you did, that's why the pix didn't attach. Forum is still discombobulated (technical term ) so using a 3rd party pix host may allow the pix to show up.....

Try using Photobucket - It seems to be the only method currently working for pic posting.

It would seem you have the privacy settings on your Photobucket account set to private.

Hey Guys,

just wondering if you have any advise with regards to the scratches, should I repair them, or can I leave them as is without causing any damage to the fiberglass.

Thanks.

She is on a Fresh Water lake, stays in the water from about mid June to Sept

If there's no deep gouges or scratches then I'd recommend a good sanding and cleaning and then a coating of bottom paint and call it good.
