92 rude 150 hp
while idling out of a creek my trim and gauges go dead so I knew i blew a fuse. Get in the fuse panel under the dash and figure that all those are ok but in the process break the wire off that powers the bilge and fuel pump. Then go to the fuse between the starter and cylinoid(sp?), theres the culprit. after realizing I had no fuses and no foil to replace it I opted to cut it off and bypass it. So I wire it directly together. On the way back to the ramp the boat will only run about 2500 rpms, anything more and it spits sputters coughs and just wont take anymore fuel so figure it has to be the fuel pump not on. Get home and replace the fusable link I cut off and fixed the wire on the bilge and fuel pump fuse and head out the next day assuming all problems are fixed, I replaced everything that was broken. head out and the motor is in the same shape as it was the day before, 2500 rpm and thats it, just wont rev any higher, any ideas? Thanks in advance
Kyle
