Looking for its year of build pleaseeee

Is there no model number posted on the stern bracket or welch plug?

R81808117 On Core Plug on Power head may be serial # dealer might be able to trace.

model # something like this

I think that's a replacement powerhead. So that's no help. Those casting numbers may have been used for numerous years.

If all we have to go on is hp and colour then your motor was (probably) built between 1983-89?
