Limt Switches??
BOAT TYPE 186 WELLCRAFT I/O W MERCRUISER 3.7lt MTR, ALPHA-1 STERN DRIVE. YEAR 1989
Some1 Told Me That The Engine Will Stall And Turn Off If The Limit Switches Need Adjusting..help! Where's That!
Shifting Becomes Easier The More You Use The Boat Or The Warmer The Engine Get. 1st Time I Started The Boat This Year, It Just Took Several Tryes For The Motor To Stay On During Shifting!
We Launched The In The Water And Let It Run For At Least 7-10 Mins. Still When We Shifted Into Reverse, It Just Keep Dieing. I Do Notice That Forward Is Eaiser To Get Into. After You Run The Boat For A While It Seems Better. Not A Smooth Motion Through Forward Nutruel And Reverse.
Also Sound Like Something Is Clunking During Shifting, When The Motion Is Successful..
