The carpet in my 2004 Rinker 232 Captiva is getting pretty worn. The black backing is coming off and it makes a mess. I was thinking of getting new carpet next year but I happened to remember about Sea Deck with looks like a nice alternative to carpet.
Can anybody give me a rough idea of what it costs to get Sea Deck custom fit to a 23' bow rider? Anyone compared the cost to new carpet?
I'm just looking for rough numbers to know if it something I'm even willing to spend the money one.
Thanks for your help.

Probably 2500 - 3 000 depending on location and if installer is busy. I just weighed both options and after talking to a dealer for both Marine Mat and Seadek who showed me boats he did with both products and what to expect. I went with the snap in marine mat.Seadek can lift in the corners , be more of a pain to clean stuff spilled including fish guts vs Marine Mat.Had a extra mat made for the fighting deck which gets a work out , let's me switch up to extend life of the section that gets the most use. Boat is used for about 30 charters a year and I love the soft cushion under foot vs hard glass which after 8 hours on it you felt it. If I had a decent diamond grip underfoot I might think twice about putting anything down . You have the old carpets for templates , that should keep cost down with the Marine Mat vs laser measuring up your boat for Seadek.
