Anyone been to roosevelt lake or apache lake Arizona lately??

I havent been in awhile, Just wondering a good spot to park the 26 foot camper and able to park the boat right there also.

Someone was telling me they camped and everytime they want to go boating they had to put their boat in and pull it out when they are done..

Wow, your in safford also?? Small world.... Probbaly turn out your my neighbor..ha..ha.... Usually people in Arizona dont even know where we are here....

WEll ,Been doing some checking on roosevelt, you can stay at bachelors cove, cholla bay or horse pasture and camp right there with the boat... Windy hill has some nice campsites, but it would be too much of a pain pulling the boat out all the time..

16.5' bowrider.

I was there last September when the north wind came out of nowhere and I wasn't quite sure I'd be leaving the lake with my boat in tact.

Keep your eyes open fore debris in the water. Not sure why there is so much of it these last two years.

Re: roosevelt lake

The rain runoff of early '05 (or was it late '04) brought the debris. The debris ran into the lake and also as the lake rose up, it covered areas that had never seen water and picked up all the deadfall etc and now it's prop-fodder :)
