I'm in Ontario Canada and boat in Lake Ontario all the time. I go in the Niagara River and other launchs all the way to Hamilton. It's a big lake. On a calm day in August you can go out for miles, jump in the water and it's so clear you can look up and see every detail of your boat. On a bad day you can die. Wind is the killer. It's so big the waves are very deceiving. Show lots of respect and you can have lots of fun on that lake.
