Rings & Bearings for old motor

I have a 1956 Johnson 10HP and the cyl pressure is a little low. The motor looks great. I have rebuilt motors before but being as old as it is I'm wondering if I can get the parts. I will be needing rings, bearings, gaskets etc. Is it possible to do this or should I stop before I waste my time?

Hi, Chip.<br /><br />Johnsons aren't "old" until they are older than 12Footer. Yours isn't old yet.<br /><br />You can get a Manual here: http://www.outboardrepairs.com/manuals/ <br /><br />And you can get parts through any JohnnyRude dealer or NAPA Auto Parts store.<br /><br />Good luck.
