Reverse Gear and Dog Clutch

Follow up to another thread about my merc 75 that was slipping in reverse.
Attached is the shutterfly account for the 4 pics, two of the reverse gear and two of the dog clutch. While the wear doesn't seem that significant, the wear on the reverse side of the dog and the reverse gear appear to be enough to cause the slipping. Your thoughts?

Hi,

I can't see the clutch dog reverse dogs but the gear is shot. (in my opinion)

From the new pic's the clutch dog is bad too.

They are ALL shot.They can be fixed,the gears themself look ok.Just the mating edges.That comes from slowly putting it in gear or in and out of gear a LOT.Some machine shops will put the necessary square edge on them.Look around.J

So you guys thinking a new dog clutch and try to find a machine shop to resharpen the reverse gear mating?

Both forward and reverse need help.If you change gears then you need to reshim. If you can find a shop then all mating surfaces on the dog and gears need to be squared.J

What kind of favorable outcome are we looking at if I get the mating edges sharped on the reverse gear? Also, when taking it apart, the cam follower assembly at the tip of the prop shaft came off inside the housing. I retrieved the cam and have seen 1 BB so far. Been told there are three. What options do I have here? I'm not sure that the other two BB haven't came out already since I don't hear them and the forward gear and the drive shaft turn perfectly. What's your thoughts here?
