Any one know where I might get the replacement buzzer for my 1985 185hp Johnson. $50.00 from the dealer, seems like I could find this part somewhere cheaper. Dhadley thanks for the input its sure enough sound advice. What about a water temp guage to go along with the buzzer for my outboard?

Re: replacing warning buzzer

If you disconnect all of the alarms except the overheat, you can use horn from radio shack. The only place you will find the orignal horn is at dealer, needs to be horn for that engine by pn, and I would have dealer order a fresh one from The Bomb, some of the early horns went bad setting on shelf.
