I have a 1989 Wellcraft 210 Coastal with a 1988 2.0L OMC Seadrive. I want something with more kick to it and I was wondering what I would like to do is put a 1989 Johnson 225 on the boat. The new motor is obviously not a seadrive. Is this possible without spending a ton of money or should I keep looking for another seadrive?

If you can get a motor for your price, consider another $800 or so for a bracket and the time and materials to close the Seadrive holes. If you do the work it should not be to expensive. Send me your email address and I'll send you a picture of mine. I had twin Force 120s and changed them out for a J225. I had some custom glass work done to raise the transom for the bracket.<br />Brian

After doing some searching I found another post from someone that had the same question. Thanks.
