Renovating the deck floor top layer

Hi. I am renovating my center console boat and thought that it might need the floor deck to be renewed. It has an Eva foam which I removed and noticed that some of the areas do not look too good. I was going to apply a thin layer of gel coat, however the the deck has a non-skid diamond pattern which I would prefer to save. However some of the areas are peeling and cracking.
not sure if the previous owner used paint, epoxy or if it's the factory gel coat.
I don't mind getting rid of the diamond shape, it's just that it's in great shape around helm area, but terrible on the front and back.

And I'm not sure if it's gel coat or if there was any layer of paint on top.
If I chose to sand it down, would I need to fill those cracks and peels or just put a layer of epoxy or gel coat on and it will fill and stick?

Could you please recommend the best yet budget friendly way to renew the deck?
Would you recommend paint, gel or epoxy?

Here is the worst part, near the transom. I have not cleaned it yet.

There are non slip products like fine sand that may be added to gel or paint.

I would think the first choice is to save the diamond pattern, if you can. If the diamond pattern is beyond saving, you could use the sand additive, or go with carpet or vinyl flooring.

Thank you, I will consider these options.

I am trying to remove the EVA foam adhesive which is terrible and sending the whole diamond pattern flat since there is a lot of bubble chips.

I am investing a lot in the boat recently so I don't want to spend too much on the deck. What do you think about going with either TotalThread non skid paint or Rustoleum Topside paint with Rust-Oleum Marine Anti-Slip Additive?

I used total tread, only had one quart (I have a small floor area) and wasn‘t able to get quite two coats on, but just about. It’s held up about 2.5 seasons, but it is starting to wear down a little. I’m going to just add some rubber mats soon for anti-fatigue so I won’t care about the paint too much after that, but if I had used the proper amount of paint I believe it would still be in decent shape, and the non-skid properties of that total tread are pretty darn good…
