Re: Rendezvous on the Chesapeake or Potomac?
I've been floating for a couple weeks now but won't be ready to cruise for at least a month. Lots of projects need to get done, but I know I'll only have the energy to actually finish a few of 'em. <br />Most important on my list:<br />-New VHF and antenna<br />-clean carbs<br />-new gas filters<br />-new raw water impellers<br />-complete scrubbing of exterior<br />-organize and cleanup interior<br /><br />Less imperative (but things I really want to do):<br />-install a sounder at lower helm<br />-install a loud hailer<br />-repair non-working trim tabs<br /><br /><br />Lowest on the list (but still important):<br />-install new deck hatches<br />-buff and wax topsides (did the hull last year) <br />-re-bed all deck hardware (I have a cored deck)<br />-complete the refinishing of the teak (the areas I did last year look soooo good, but it's a LOT of work!)<br /><br />Sometimes I gotta remind myself how much fun this is.....
