Remote control wiring harness problems....

I purchased an excellent running 1996 75 hp Force and control box for my boat.The problem I have is that the person that I got it from had cut the short wiring harness that runs the tach and other accessories off of the control box. Now im not sure which wires go where. I have a black,purple,grey,tan/blue,brown/white and a tan with a bullet connector on it coming out of the control box.I need to know what these wires connect to.Any information would help...thanks.

these are standard color codes, stone.<br />black is groung [batt neg]<br />purple is 12v key on...<br />grey is tach sensor wire<br />tan/blue tracer is over heat alarm<br />brn/wht is trim guage sender<br />tan is sender for temp guage<br />just because you have these wires doesnt mean anything is hooked to them...tan and brn/wht usually not used on force....
