Remanufactured Long Block Builder

Looking for a reman. long block 350 votec. Anyone have any suggestoins with to or not to buy? Anything I need to look for? Thanks?

Rapido and michgan motorz both have pretty good reputations, although I have never used either one. Livin' in NASCAR country, we have plenty of engine builders around.

As for what to watch for - match the vintage of the block(1 or 2pc rear seal) with your current setup.

Ok let me add one more question. I have looked at gm crate motors as well. Any thoughts on getting one what I would need to do to it? Pros cons? Have seen alot of topics on it here just not sure if the vortec 350 would make be any different?

It would have to have brass core plugs and a different cam. Plus the same type rear main seal as the original engine.

Rapid-O is a better option..just drop it in and go.
