Does anyone know a site I might visit to get some information on a reel I was given. Im not sure how old it is. IT is a Berkley 4200 with a custom paramedic pc 5c - 6' 10" rod. It comes in a carring case along with a Berkley 530 fly reel.
I also have an old Noll Fly tying kit I would like to know if it has a value or not. There was a 1954 tieing book inside but no indication how old on the box. Just curious

It says its fiberglass. It's in 5 pieces and the whole thing fits in a carring case that says Berkley travel pack.

Re: Reel information ( its value)

I will have to plead ignorance in my description of the reel but it is 3" around. When I turn the nob.. its not really a handle that ive seen before it clicks. its model is berkley 530 . The whole kit has Berkley written inside a heart. I dont know if thats their logo or if its a special sweathearts series :)
That was a joke.. I think..anyway...
I dont see a weight on the rod but the case also comes with two extra spools of line for a quick change .. Im guessing for different line strengths.
The previous owner had a considerable amount of money and he always wanted the best of everything. Ive not used it yet but just playing with it it's obvious its not a rhino 33. Not that Im knocking zebco...
