I just purchased a Quantum 1310MG baitcaster reel and now I need to find a rod to go with it. I would like some suggestions. I will be using it for bass fishing which I will be learning to do. I fish for trout :) So suggest away and if you could tell me how much you paid for the rod your recommending so I can price compare. Thanks

Dennis--- I have been using the quarrow brand rods for the last season and I am really happy with them. From the sounds of what kind of fishing you want to do I would suggest the quarrow green country ML3 6 foot one piece medium. rated for 6-14 pound test,1/8-3/8 lures. The cost is about 100 dollars. Or you might go for the medium heavy but it may be a little heavy if you plan to try this rig for trout. They do have a web site. WWW.quarrow.com IMHO I think these are best quality for the money.
---------------
Flathead

I use a light weight for trout... they are a bit on the small side at lake tanneycomo in Branson so the fight is more enjoyable. I will check out the site and thanks for the responce..anyone else have a suggestion??????/

DENNIS: I have 4 baitcasters with BERKLEY LIGHTING RODS or the BIONX{MED ACTION}.Not real expensive and very good rod.........In my opinion.
Price range about 30 to 50 bucks.

Dennis....I like the Diawa interline rods. Got to learn to cast all over but for me it was worth the money.

OBJ
