I have this 20-year old JC Pontoon boat with U-shaped pontoons (2) that I am about to start to re-do. It runs good with an original 1983 hp Johnson. The tubes are in excellent shape. Furniture is in pretty good shape. The deck is solid, but does have some rotten spots where some of the hardware is fastened. I would like to start this project first by replacing the decking with 3/4 inch, 7-ply, Douglas Fir, 0.40 CCA Pressure Treated plywood which was kiln-dryed after being pressure treated. Does anyone know where I can find this specific decking here around the Huntsville, AL area? Also, any advice on this project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, irao

Coat both sides of the the plywood with epoxy resin before installing.

Just a heads-up. I was told that "marine" plywood differs from the pressure treated stuff in how any voids in the glue are treated. Supposedly the marine stuff has very few or none.

Charles
