I took all the hardware, benches, and gunwales off my Ranger 12 to clean it up and repaint it. It was green and there were many runs so I sanded it down and decided to switch to the original blue and red.
Now that I've got 1-2 coats on the hull, I'm seeing many places with concerning cracks. They aren't just superficial because I can feel them and they are still very visible after 1 coat (2 in some places). I'm not sure if they were always there or if I caused them when I flipped the boat over without the support of gunwales and benches. I think they actually were there but just weren't visible against the old dark green. I also have noticed a couple of these inside along the benches.
I was sailing this boat last summer just fine so I'm wondering how (or if) to proceed.

Options:
- Ignore them, they are fine! (I was sailing this boat last summer)
- Suck it up, grind, re-glass, re-fair, re-paint. It's worth fixing, but if I ignore them I'll be sorry.
- This is a job for an expert, call around and find a pro to fix it
- The hull is toast (or tracking down and fixing all the cracks will be a big messy project with uncertain results), time to get a new boat!
