Forgot what went here when I took the old motor apart and I already sent my core back. It’s not threaded? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

that's for the oil dip stick

It is for the dipstick tube but you may also have a dipstick that attaches to the oil pan, or at least the 4.3 I had with a cast pan did. In which case you can seal this off with a plug and rtv

Ayuh,..... That's what it is,..... If unneeded, plug it with a plastic tubing plug, or an ole bolt slathered with silicone sealant,.....

Is that a reaman engine from Mich Motorz or new ? I have had nothing but great luck with the engine I got from them in 2015
