I have a 97' Seadoo GS, The sealed compartment next to the battery which houses the staring selenoid, wasn't so water tight, and flooded. I found that out when it woudnt start, and began to trouble shoot. I determined it was a bad selenoid and bought a new one. The selenoid clicks like it should but engine doesnt crank. The jetski will run if the two terminals on the selenoid are shorted, so the starter is good. Ive checked all fuses, cleaned all terminals, battery is good, checked the switch which seems to work properly and nothing. Can some one please throw me a bone????

Re: PWC starter relay problems

Sounds like all that is left is the start switch> The new solinoid might be bad I just went through the same thing and the new relay was bad also> Try tapping it with a screw driver on the plastic while pushing the start switch>
