Hey guys!
Put up a few new pics for you guys to see of my boat's engine. I just wanted to make sure that I had hydraulic steering as I see in pictures 613 and 614. Do I have to adjust anything of this regularly? Could I adjust torque effect on this?
Also I wanted to make my engine look nicer this winter...are there any chrome kits for marine engines?
Thanks

mcu, I would plane with trim tabs up and then lower the right one to counteract the left pull.
Also I would center the foot and count the number of turns the wheel does to the left and then to the right. In theory they should be equal.

have the same problem, 1977 20 ft searay ford 302 and later model alpha one outdrive.i noticed your skeg is bent the opposite way as mine. if your problem is the skeg it looks like yours would pull right.i just pulled my outdrive, bellhousing and am going to look for a problem in my gimble ring/steering shaft(noticed quite a bit of play there.i'll let you know if i come up with anything.
