Hi,<br /><br />I assume all you hear is a click when you try and engage it up or down?<br />Have you tried to remove the DC motor that drives the pump? Might be worth while seeing if its seized first before you spend anymore time with it. (Remove the P/T motor and run the (DC) motor without the pump/ram assy)<br />PS-the click you hear are the solenoids engaging-which is a good thing.<br /><br />I hope it works. But don' be surprized if at 30 years old, its FUBARed. Mine was on my old 1989 Merc.<br /><br />Good luck.
