Please help me located a starter solenoid for my 120

Hi there i am trying to find the correct starter solenoid for my 1994 Force 120hp. There are so many different types and i want to be 100% sure. I'm not sure if mine is the 9 or the 16amp if that matters but my stator just recently went out and this is the kit that is now on the boat.

Try this site to look up parts, have you model and serial #'s handy.

Once you get the Merc part # then go to the iboat site and look up the comparable aftermarket part

This way you can be SURE that you will have the correct part for your motor.

www.mercruiserparts.com lists part number 89-817109A3. That is the same number listed for my motor and I bought one last night. If you change the last digit to a 89-817109A2 it is a few dollars cheaper. Worked fine. Look it up and make sure the picture matches yours.
