Anyone put in at Pekin Illinois? Last year was my first year boating. The Pekin ramps seem to be quite run down. I wonder which ramp you use and how big your boat is? I always used the south most ramp out of the middle set, and even then, there seemed to be a rock about 15 feet out that I would bounce off of. Just wanted to hear from others. <br /><br />Chris

Chris, I avoid ramps all together & keep my boat at Wharf Harbor Marina in Peoria.<br /><br />I see a lot of people launching at the ramp right by Captain Ron's on Wesley Road in Creve Coeur. But if you want to stay on your side of the dam... Pekin may be about it.<br />Try contacting the Pekin Boat Club, they may have members that trailer all the time.<br />Good Luck
