Pedestal Seat Questions

I am about finished putting the new decks in my boat, and the next step is deciding on what type of seat-to-boat connection I want/need. I have NO experience with them. The seats and pedestals must be removeable, but that still leaves lots of options with size, tampered vs non-tapered, raised bases, flush bases that required holes, etc.<br /><br />Any advice/warnings/tips?<br /><br />Thanks everyone.
