Painting hull - topside paint okay?

I have seen a lot of debate around what paints are okay or not okay to use and was hoping I could get some buy-in here.

Re-doing a 17' Glastron that has a fully glass hull that is gelcoat. Gelcoat is chalky and needs attention. I would like to go with a nice shiny navy gray all over the boat.

If I am willing to do a roll or roll-tip type job by flipping the hull over and painting it... what types of paints can I use? And does it require a special primer?

This is what I was looking at using... I was looking for feedback on if it was a good plan.

I spoke with total-boat yesterday in regards to this question and I was told I'm not too far off. Here is the process I'm going to explore. The tough part will be flipping the damn boat over without cracking it in half.

DE-WAX AND SOLVENT GELCOAT - Special dewax solvent
SAND WITH 220
1 COAT OF PRIMER - Topside primer
SAND WITH 220
PAINT 1ST COAT - Wet Edge Topside paint
SAND WITH 220
PAINT 2ND COAT - " "
SAND WITH 220
PAINT 3RD COAT - " "
