I am thinking about making my carpet to snap in or velcro in so it could be removed rather than permanently attaching with glue. I would have the edges of it bound if I go this route. It seems to me if it snapped in it could be easily removed for cleaning purposes when the kids, the grandchildren and the two highly active weimaraner pups spill something.

If any of you have any recommendations on weight of carpet or carpet suppliers any info is appreciated.

Any opinions or ideas?

Re: Opinions on Carpet Installation for Aristocraft

have ya tried AristoCraft.com?
i think they have some colors available. though not mine. might be worth a call to see if they have the color your in need of.

i don't know anything about carpet. but this oem carpet, made of olefin (per AristoCraft brochures from the era) sure is durable and imho would be desirable to repeat if possible. in my searches. olefin isn't to available these days though. wish you luck in finding something that works for you and let us know what ya get so we can all be hip....

your snap in carpet idea sounds like a great idea to me..
