Only getting spark in one cylinder

Hey guys if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated I have a 1996 mercury 150 2stroke black max offshore and I’m only getting spark in one cylinder replaced fuse and everything still not working serial number is 0G230698

Test your ignition coils.

Swap the plug wire on your good plug to the bad plug and see if the bad plug fires up. If it doesn't swap plugs. Rule out your plug wire and your plug.

Some will argue.----Charge the battery.-----Have the battery load tested even if new.-----Take starter apart for inspection / ohm test on armature / possibly new brushes.----Not much money spent.-----I agree , low cranking speed leads to a " no spark " condition.

Test it with a battery that turns over a car motor. Takes minutes to easily rule out.

"Make sure starter RPM is not slow"...... yep.
"Coils rarely fail..espeicially 5 at one time"...... yep.

my money is gonna be on one or more of these things.. trigger, stator and/or switch box (boxes)... ya need ta start testin' parts... if ya need an oem manual send me an email addy................................

Hi. If there is any doubt around sufficient power draw or current to turn her over and spark too. You could pull her over by hand or with a driver on the flywheel…with a plug(s) out and all other leads off.
My old 150 had a dodgy main fuse holder connection that would do similar and latterly failed to turn her over altogether. Used the emergency pull rope to start her. First I’ve seen or had to do this on an engine that size. Went second pull…first pull was a practice 😂
