I have a 1993 OMC cobra EFI and ESA model 58 FAPRJVN and I’ve had it since new. The remote control, concealed side mount with trim switch is model number as give above. I was considering replacing it, but found that you can possibly buy many of the sub component I thought a good cleaning and re-lubricating with new springs and ball tensioners would perhaps do the job? I have a complete blow up showing all the working pieces.
Has anybody had experience with fixing this assembly. Alternatively, has anybody had experience with purchasing an equal to unit that works with the wiring and configuration of this unit?
