Hello to all. I am new to iboats and have bought a 1981 22' viking cuddy cabin. OMC 3.8L Stringer 800, hydromechanical shift. I know most people hate them, i like a challange. Upper was wasted when i bought it i had Al at Marine Engines in Stocton CA build me a complete drive (upper and lower. It is being shipped to me now, but im reading all differant opinions on lube. What do i need for the upper, lower, and intermediate? Im pretty sure i dont need the omc hi vis do i? That was for the electric shift correct? Mineis hydromechanical. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
