OMC I/O Head Gaskets

I am about to change a leaking head gasket on a 2.3 litre OMC I/O. This unit operates in salt water 6 weeks/year. a) can you use a premium automotive gasket like Felpro, or b) is there a replacement marine gasket designed for salt water application, or c) does it even matter

Fel-Pro marine catalog does not list this engine, try www.fel-pro.com.

i wouldn't use an automotive head gasket, it won't hold up. u should be able to find a marine gasket for your engine. don't know about the salt water issue.
