I have a 1967 Thunderbird with 6Cyl. engine. I am gettting a lot of back pressure coming out of fitting that fresh water intake hose hooks up to at distribution box. This manifold is the old style with the aluminum plates inside. I have replaced the plates at times over the years but I don't remember what the symptoms were. I don't believe I should have pressure on inlet side of box.
