I have a 1996 lowes deck boat 2220 and I would like to fix it up.
Is there a place I can go to find the original type parts (like bumpers & windshields)?

Been looking on internet for weeks and just can't find the right place.

TIA

Thanks, I get the hit and miss. Guess I'll start looking for the boat grave yards in my area.

I appreciate the input, at least it tells me that general direction...and it ain't on the internet.

Ayuh,.... Lowes is still buildin' boats ain't they,..??
They'll be 'bout the only place yer gonna find a windshield...
As for the other stuff,...
Most all of it comes from the likes of Taco, or Teliflex, or Perco, or a host other hardware producers...

the windsheild is the worst.......what exactally is wrong with it?.....the glass can be made......even right here at iboats.......as far as the other parts....like the bumper....(im assuming you mean the rub rail), like bondo says....that is made by different companies... iboats will have that too.

just another reason why the general area should be mandatory upon sign up....it is just too valuable information for these forums.

Fixed my profile, sorry about that...was new and anxious to find a place with folks that answer.
Bumpers, on the bow and sides and stern corners...I've made some but was looking for originals.

Thanks for the answers Bondo and new directions for me to seek my quest.

Re: Old Boat parts and accessories

I can get a Lexan shield made up, but I was trying to find the place (I thought it would be Lowes.com) that has all the parts for my boat. So far on Lowes wesite, I haven't been able to find anything before 2001. What if I needed the plugs that go to the handles that open the storage doors? Or the canopy canvas? Not that I need either of those right now,but I was kinda' hoping that someone would say go "here.com" and they have all you need for that particular boat.

Anyway, Thanks thanks and thanks again for being there. It assures me I'm starting to get on track.
