Oil/Fuel System

My mechanic suggested disconnecting oil injection system and manually adding oil to gas tank during fueling.He feels fail safe systems are not quick enough to stop engine damage. Anybody have any expierence?

Youd get a better response on the Outboard forum. As lond as you can mix your fuel correctly its probably a wise choice.
