I have a 88 Omc V8 I/O ??Its a 305 i believe and anyhow.. Last season end i was having a carb flood problem, all fixed now. Hoever, i noticed the oil level is WAY overfull. Like a qt. or so.. smells a bit like gas, clear not white(water) I want to change oil and filter, just wondered how much this would hold, With and without filter, annd how difficult is the filter to get (didnt get a chance to look yet. Just launhed for the season yesterday. Also WHAT TYPE of oil should i use.. 10w30 or SAE40 ?? not sure. Thanks for all help
