Today the highway department decided it was time to paint the double yellow lines. The cones were placed and the paint applied with total disregard to the weather
Water based paint and rain do not mix. There is paint EVERYWHERE!!! In the streams, the river, on cars, trucks and even some on the road.
The double yellow lines spread out to about six feet wide.
The paint will NOT dry in the rain........ but I was assured it was environmentally friendly These pictures are 4 hours after the paint was applied and the 3rd one is the sand dam the highway people made to "filter" the run off.
The Environmental Agency people were here, WCAX news was here and EVERY car that went by got paint on it....... FIVE miles of road.
OMG if I had gotten that paint in the streams and rivers .....I could only imagine the fines I would be tagged with
