O day fixed keel

Could anyone tell me how far below the hull the keel extends on a 1977 oday 22' with the fixed keel. I have borrow a trailer to pick one up and the owner is elderly and cant measure it for me. thanks-wes

This brochure says 1' 8", but the 22 has been around a long time. You'll have to Google around and see if there have been any changes along the way.

I own a 1974 O22, and 20" on my keel sounds about right. O'Day made the 22 with a fixed keel up until (I think) about 1978 or so, but my experience tells me that all the fixed keels were the same, and mine looks like the one in the pic above.

If you need to, I can measure my trailer and give you an idea of what works for me... let me know.
