non skid floor

I was wondering if anyone knows what I can use on my boats floor. What Im looking for is something non skid and semi soft on the feet. Im going to use is not only for fishing but for water sports as well. Something with different colors to. Any ideas would be great.

Several options. For the cheapest route, mix playbox sand with paint and roll it on. For softer/more finished it's hard to beat marine vinyl or carpet as sold by the yard in Cabelas' etc. For narrow/small areas, rubber hallway runners from the home goods store work OK too.

there's a product called Sea-dek, I used it on my old boat, like a foam floor mat. kept my back from hurting when I was on the water all day.

sounds like hydro turf might meet the criteria... http://www.hydroturf.com/
usually used for pwc. but think it could be adapted to a boat floor...
